I don’t know how to handle this Psychology question and need guidance.

1. What do you think about the use of the “self-reference effect” to make difficult concepts easier to grasp? Do you believe that this would help students learn the material better? Explain why or why not.
2. The author suggests creating mnemonic devices using the names of friends and family members as a way to use the self-reference effect to students’ advantages when learning difficult subject matter. Can you think of any other ways to use the self-reference effect in a classroom (not necessarily related to math)?
3. Apply any of the other concepts that you have learned about in the chapter on the social self (Links to an external site.) to this situation? Identify at least one other concept or effect (other than the ones discussed by the blog author) from the chapter that could be used to help instructors teach certain hard-to-grasp concepts more effectively. Make sure to explain why you believe this would work.

To earn full credit, your response paper must show evidence of reading the article, independent thought on the topic, and critical thinking skills. Make sure to proofread your assignment for content and clarity before submitting it. Although content matters more than length, assignments should be roughly 2-3 typed pages, assuming regular 12 pt font size, spacing, and margins.
