OS REPORT

You are required to prepare a detailed research report comparing:
1- Operating System Architecture (structure)
2- System calls and their implementations
3- Design and Implementation Philosophy based on what you learnt from the lectures
4- Command interpreters (shells): use sample commands to illustrate how these shells are used
for Windows and Linux.
In the process provide:
1- Examples of how system calls are directly invoked from application programs to create and handle files and processed
2- Sample implementations of system calls in Linux and related operating systems (open source)

Please prepare your report on the most recent editions of the operating systems.
