For the possibility of a B paper, all you need to do is analyze the movie in a thoughtful way that links the story to broader themes of the course.

For the possibility of an A paper, you would not only have to analyze the movie, but also compare it with the excerpt from The Secret History of the Mongols.

 Possibility does not mean you are guaranteed a B or and an A; it just means that if you only analyze either move, you are not likely to get more than a B unless it is an outstanding piece of writing.

The main criteria for grading your paper:

Quality of your writing

Thoughtfulness of your response

Ability to discuss and analyze the movie/text

Ability to relate the movie/text to broader themes in the course
