Unit 8 Discussion board Do you think we should be responsible for the consequences for our acts of omission? Do you think withholding something to save lives is similar to actively killing?  If a child in front of us asks for food and we reject the food to the child and the child dies as a result, are we responsible for the child’s death?  Likewise, if we can reasonably afford to feed the hungry (the strangers) and if we don’t, are we responsible for their death? Why? Or Why not?
