Bethel University Space Layout Analysis Discussion In this phase of your course project, you will develop a space layout analysis for both the back
and front of the house for your concept. Space refers to areas such as receiving, storage,
preparation, dining room, service stations, office, employee related, waiting areas, etc. The
first part of the assignment will be a summary overview in a minimum of 250 words–in a
Word document–of all the functional space and areas for your facility. You will provide a
general description of each space, the relationship of each space to one another, and any
special design features that should be considered for each space.The second part of the assignment is to complete an Excel spreadsheet by using the sample as
a guideline, calculate the square footage of your facility for both the front and back of the
house. Determine how much space will be allocated for the different areas. This will be unique
to each of your concepts and you should utilize the formulas in Excel to assist in the
