Why do some describe firearm suicide as an “invisible epidemic”?

Reading Memos – Ongoing You are required to complete four reading memos; each reading memo is worth 5% of your grade. Please adhere to the following: • Each reading memo should be focused on a particular set of readings and explicitly answer one (and only one) of the questions listed in the syllabus under “Memo Questions.” Your paper must include the question you are addressing at the top of the paper. • Each reading memo should address the chosen question using the course readings; do not use outside course material. • Each reading memo should be 1 to 2 pages, double-spaced, 12-pt font in Times New Roman, with 1- inch margins. • Each reading memo is due by email before the first class meeting that covers the readings in the memo. E.g., if you choose to write a memo for the set of readings on “Wars on Crime & the Second Amendment”, your memo will be due via email before class on January 28th. (One exception: if you choose to write a memo for the first topic, you may return your memo by January 11th.) • You will receive an email confirmation that I have received your memo. Note: it is your choice as to which course topics you’d like to cover in your reading memos; it is also your responsibility to ensure that you have completed the four required reading memos for the semester.
