Week 6’s final project: Putting it all together

Objective: For your final project, you will submit a narrated presentation that explains project management topics you have discussed in the assignments you submitted in Weeks 1-5.

Assignment

So far in this course, you have created assignments focusing on the following topics:

• The life cycle, strategy, and value of the Horizon Consulting project.
• The feasibility of Shoreline Stadium project
• The project duration inthe case ofWhitbread World Sailboat Race
• Project management styles: MBWA
• Managing International Projects: AMEX, Hungary

For your project, you will create an oral presentation briefly describing the main argument in each assignment and your takeaways from them. Please follow the below steps to complete your project.

Step 1: In addition to a cover slide and a references slide, your presentation must include the following sections:

• A brief summary (No more than 1-2 slides)
• Explanation of the main argument in each assignment and your takeaway (2-3 slides)

Note.Do not copy and paste entire assignments into your presentation. Your presentation should be a brief, succinct description of the above-mentioned sections.

Step 2: Choose the application for your narrated presentation. While PowerPoint is the most common tool for narrated presentation, you are free to use alternative tools such as Screencast-o-matic, Adobe Captivate, or iMovie.

Step 3: Develop your narrated presentation. If you are using PowerPoint, please review these resources that might help you narrate your presentation on a PC and a Mac.

Your narrated presentation should meet the following requirements:

• A recording (oral) component of your research
• At least 12-15 slides
• A cover slide and a referenceslide
• At least five (5) peer-reviewed articles
• APA formatted, organized, clear, and grammatically correct
• Follows the standard use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Note that presentations that do not have the oral component will automatically receive a D.

Step 4: Upload your narrated presentation to YouTube. If you need any assistance with uploading your video to YouTube, please review this video.

Step 5: Submit only the URL of your presentation to the Week 6 Final Project Portal. You will not be able to submit a file to this assignment.
