The first case discussion relates to three topics we have studied during the first 4 weeks of this course, Forecasting, Long Range Planning, Intermediate Range Planning and Theory.

Two current event related articles as background information for this case discussion.

Read the two background articles. Consider them in the context of Forecasting, Long Range Planning and Intermediate Range Planning. The minimum length of the original post is 500 words. Post one original response to the following items to the Case Discussion No.1. Poses must be clear, concise and complete.

Describe in your own words how actions that Thrive took to capitalize on the opportunities afforded them by the Covid-19 pandemic impacted their Forecasting Process, Capacity Plan and Aggregate Plan.
How could Thrive have gone about considering major changes in demand or supply in their Forecasting, Capacity Planning and Operational Planning?
