University of Phoenix The US Representative Presentation Imagine that you’ve applied for an internship with your US Representative (not your Senators), but there are many other people competing for the position. In order to determine the best person for the job, the Representative wants to determine how much each potential intern knows about the specific interests of the Representative and the US electoral system in general.

Create a 10-12-slide PowerPoint presentation to illustrate your knowledge about the Representative, their political issue interests, election campaigns, and political parties. Your presentation must include the following:

The name, party, and qualifying background of your US Representative. Here is a resource to find them: https://ziplook.house.gov/htbin/findrep_house?ZIP5
The political, social, and/or economic interests of your Representative. The Representative’s website is a good starting point for this but should not be your only resource. The committees they serve on may also be a good source.
The various ways a constituent of the representative can participate in campaigns and the election process
The role national political party conventions play in the presidential election process
How your Representative uses or has used the media (TV, radio, internet, social media) in their campaign, based on the most recent election in November, 2018
The role and influence of money in modern political campaigns in general and your Representative’s in particular.

Include photos, illustrations, data, and other visuals as appropriate. Document the source of each media item you include in your presentation.

Include citations for all unoriginal ideas, facts, or definitions in an APA-formatted reference list on your last slide.
