I am writing to request an interview with you on June 00, 2020 through a phone call, email, or
via Zoom. The interview is meant to discuss the various ways that your strategies and tactics
have changed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. However, I am concerned about the
Movement’s operation, especially after the outbreak of the Corona Virus that requires total social
distancing and minimal movements.
Furthermore, the purpose of the interview is to properly discuss the corresponding issues
associated with the pandemic. I seek to gain information on the effect COVID-19 has on the
organization’s operations and the adjustments that have been made to facilitate the continuing of
the operations. Similarly, the interview is meant to review the operations severely affected or
stalled due to the pandemic. Also, I aim at gaining information on financial constraints brought
by the outbreak and other concerns that have come up due to the pandemic. Lastly, the interview
will pursue information on the successful operations despite the pandemic.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is contemporary social movement that seeks to ensure equality with
the aim of eliminating racial discrimination and ensuring the equal wellbeing of all people. The
corona virus pandemic has affected the way the organization carries out their activities, and
particularly because the world currently needs a lot of grants, healthcare systems are crashing,
and people may be subjected to unfair treatment of their race. In the effort to understand this
better how the strategies and operations of Black Lives Matter (BLM) have been affected by
Covid-9 pandemic, I am booking an interview appointment with a person who is a member of
the organizations legal staff. That person probably knows a counsel and a speaker on various
matters affecting the world. The interview questions that I intend to ask to have been listed
below:

1. How has corona virus pandemic affected the operations of the organization?
This question will help highlight the effect of the pandemic on the operation of the organization.
The question brings out the challenge of how the disease is changing the operations. The
operations of Black Lives Matter (BLM) that entail meeting groups is quite limited by the virus.
The organization must resort to video conferencing to reach the other organizations they
cooperate with.

The question is vital in highlighting the changes that have occurred in the organization because
of the pandemic. The issue of remotely working from home is one big change that the
organization is currently undergoing. The changes in donations are also affecting the operations

and run part of the activities of the organization. An understanding of the situation will help
understand the effect of the global pandemic on business.
7. What strategies are employed to keep the supporters informed?
Corona virus is a new world phenomenon and most people are not aware of the predisposing
agents, signs, and symptoms plus management. The question will assist in understanding the
contribution the organization is taking to curb the pandemic. The answer should highlight the
partners the organization has in the fight to support governments in fighting the pandemic. The
question is essential to bring out the tactical aspects of the organization.
