Gang violence is the primary driver of violence and crime in many cities in the US. Therefore, by rehabilitating gang members and enabling their re-entry into the community, the community will benefit in several ways. The rehabilitation can be done by offering them alternative ways of making a living and keeping them occupied (Young, n.d.).}
