For this assignment, you will assume the role of the manager for this project https://www.dtf.vic.gov.au/partnerships-victoria-ppp-projects/campaspe-water-reclamationscheme. As such, you will need to analyse this project.
Your task is to research stakeholder tensions and priorities in a public–private partnership (PPP). You
will need to examine and identify the role of various stakeholders in your chosen PPP, and explore
the relationship between key internal and external stakeholders. You should investigate actual or
potential stakeholder tensions that can arise from PPPs, and explore the specific skill-sets required
for managers in this setting.

You will need to conduct some research to answer key questions about the project that you have

5. How would you deal with any potential conflict or misalignment of priorities?
You should also include a reference list using Harvard style to support any of your claims. A list of

Criteria Marking
Demonstration of an understanding of concepts and issues relevant to the business and society
theory
1. Five key questions have been addressed to an excellent level, including detailed descriptions
of all the primary and secondary stakeholders for the PPP.
2. Stakeholder map has been provided. Different stakeholder priorities have been explained.
3. Tensions existing between stakeholders in relation to this particular PPP have been critically
analysed and described in detail.
4. Considerable evidence is used to expertly support arguments.
Scholarship: Evidence of ability to research, analyse and critique issues relevant to the discussion
topic
1. Explicit linkages between the research for the PPP and the business and society concepts is
provided.
2. The linkages demonstrate a deep understanding of how the manager would address the
challenges of stakeholder management.
3. Explanations of how the manager’s actions are consistent with business and society theory,
or alternatively, how the manager may behave in a way different to stakeholder
management theory have been critically analysed and described in detail.
4. Critical evaluation is supported by evidence synthesised from at least eight additional,
reliable, academic resources.
