In fact, they insist that the dead need “ghost” money in order to buy food, clothing, houses, luxuries, and entertainment in the spirit world. It is an obligation of the deceased person’s descendants to provide their departed loved one with “ghost money.” However, in recent times, the price of everyday and luxury items in the ghostly realm have increased dramatically.
