Using a social media account, post a compelling/funny/dramatic status that asks friends to like/comment upon/repost your status. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat and Tumblr all work well for this assignment. Check with me if you are using another type of social media platform so you can be sure that your experiment will work. You should post something as soon as possible.

1b. If you do not have a social media account you have a choice of two options:

a) See if a friend will let you post a status on their social media account.

b) Instead of thinking about your social media network, outline what your in-person social network is like using the terms below.

2. Using the information from Chapter 5 as a guide, write a two to three pages analyzing how your social media experiment went or if you don’t have a social media account just write about your network.

Remember to write what you posted on social media in your first paragraph.
