Create a newsletter that educates the consumer on agribusiness/sustainable farming, genetically modified foods or food biotechnology. It should be a NEW technology. Schools with food science degrees often list the research topics that are being studied. Topics that have been done in the past include: Aquaculture, meat from a petri dish, nano foods, GM enzymes, bacteria, and pigs, yeast based milk, methane digesters, biofuels from foods and meat grown in a petri dish. The Impossible Burger when it was still in the lab stages 5 years ago. Dietetics professionals are in the position to listen to consumer concerns and educate them on current science about food biotechnology without bias. This is not a platform for opinions that are not backed by scientific research.
