Review the Instructions
Introduction
In this assignment, you will discuss how your views of dance have changed over the course of the semester.
Instructions
In 1-2 paragraphs, reflect on how your views about dance have changed over the course of the semester. Have your views of the topic changed significantly? How so? Go back and look at your initial postings to the Dance Video Library, your Behind the Scenes dance concert, as well as your creative dance assignments (Everyday Dance, Individual Dance & Reverence Dance) and reflect on how your views have evolved. If your views have NOT changed, that’s ok. Art is the most subjective of human endeavors, and your opinion is to be respected. If this is the case, feel free to discuss this in relation to the coursework. For instance, did you find the course work an affirmation of your views, or were there areas of disagreement?

As an alternative, try viewing one of your classmates concerts and writing a personal response. You have now been the audience for many dances throughout the 4 weeks, and have honed your perceptual skills. Write two paragraphs, as you have learned to do, following the Response Guide, and expressing an opinion about a colleague’s concert. Be sure to tell me which classmate, the title of their concert, and any other info that seems relevant to your perception. You may write about any of the specific dances, or about the concert as a whole.
