RESEARCH DESIGNS AND METHODS
Research Design and Methods to address the Business Problem
Introduction
Research is supposed to entail a systematic investigation to obtain a conclusion that is a
refined hypothesis. The purpose of the research is to create a stream of truth on given a problem
through experimentation or investigation where scientific methods are given the primary
advantage of helping achieve the goal. In the article, we learn more about the implications
research and its benefits in a broad spectrum when creating truths about a particular aspect. The
attribution of drawing facts through thorough research stipulates the alignment of realizing
answers to a given problem (Boslaugh, 2007). In our paper, we will show the importance of
quantitative research design and the survey method when conducting research. The essay
discusses what the research design and method above entail when responding to a research
problem.
Research Design and Methods to be used
Various research designs and methods can be deployed to help solve a problem
efficiently. In our paper, we will employ the use of a quantitative research design where our
focus will be inclined on a descriptive type of research design to antagonize the problem
(Creswell & Creswell, 2017). The attributions of survey methods will be the most strategic
considerations that will randomly avail the measures that will initiate wanton progress on the
realization of the answers to the problem presented. The design and method stipulated above
primarily fulfill various functionalities that are attributed to planning, structure, and strategy
dynamics of researching to obtain relevant answers to the business problem. It is supposed to
answer the questions on the topic and avail control variables. The design is also attributed to

minimal errors. Creswell & Creswell (2017) indicates that the level of accuracy is improved
where the design enhances efficiency and reliability in the long-run.
Conditioning the entire research on quantitative research design enables for the creating
of intensified research stipulations which enables for the process to work critically well.
Quantitative research is attributed to involving large samples which enhance reliability and
validity in most cases. The concentration on responses is significant since it is the primary
stipulation that is needed in solving the business problem. The problem does not require a focus
on emotional proliferation and thus makes the design and method of research the most significant
to deploy in the event of trying to realize the answers to the business problem. Through the
quantitative research design, you will provide answers to the research problem, and by deploying
the proposed research method, you will initiate the strategy to implement the plan. The
relationship between the research design and method ensure the attribution of good data
collection which creates a speedy reflection of answering the problem more effectively as
desired by many researchers.
Variables to be deployed in Analyzing the Research Problem
According to Boslaugh (2007), it is significant to collect data most efficiently and
conveniently possible. The analysis of both primary and secondary data should stipulate
inclinations that help explain and support the positions taken by the research. Taking into
account raw data and analyzed and interpreted information will help consider the diverse angles
that are needed to develop the problem answers. To save on time and money, a secondary
analysis will be deployed to help me realize the answers to the business problem. It will also take
me to identify the research topic corresponding to the business problem identified and gathering

as much information as I can on the topic. It will take a comparison of information from various
sources to settle on one relevant answer towards the problem as well. The analysis of the data
will also be taken into account. The implication of using internet sources, news report,
pamphlets, reports, academic journals, magazines, and books, for instance, will create a
disposition of being able to borrow from various sources and relate the answers to find the most
convenient response in the long-run.
Primary data is the most valid and reliable source of obtaining facts to complete a
research problem. The implication of deploying the survey method that was discussed earlier
enables the creation of a stipulation that projects a direct relation to the problem (Boslaugh,
2007). Typically, deciding on what type of data to use is essential. Settling on a given
methodology helps on saving time and energy. Realizing the strengths and limitations of your
methodology will enhance quick completion and understanding of the task. It is significant to
select a single research method which will help select the participants and measures to analyze
the data. It will be significant that as a researcher, you consider the attribution of primary sources
when conducting your research since they are louder on the constituents to be learned in the
event of seeking answers to the business problem. Secondary data is also very relevant; they are
attributed to setting the stage for the primary research.
Dependent and Independent Variables
In the event of realizing answers to the business problem, one input will lead to the
realization of a given outcome which might influence a given response. In other words, the
introduction of an independent variable such as using a primary source of data will contribute to
the realization of several significant responses which can be referred to as dependent variables.
RESEARCH DESIGNS AND METHODS
5
Independent variable is attributed to the act s a control experiment to test the dependent variable.
The variable being measured as we now know is the dependent variable. The primary
independent variable in this research stipulation will be the sources of data. Both primary and
secondary source of data will influence a given outcome in the long-run. The response that is
obtained as a result of deploying these strategies to realize the answers to the problem will be the
dependent variables.
Strong inputs of independent variables dictate the reception of strong answers. This is to
imply that valid and reliable answers will be realized as a result of the input. The same applies
when weak input are invested to realize the answers to the business problem. Typically, research
that is under-searched fails to improve a hypothesis. The most considerable provision that will
promote the research on independent variable and dependent variable in my position will be as
follows. What will be changed will be the independent variable, the dependent variable will be
realized where it will be the resultant developments that will be achieved as a result of the initial
change. Conversely, the independent variables are the cause of the dependent variables.
Technically speaking, experiments dictate that the dependent variable correlate in that they are
directly proportional to the independent variable.
Ethical, Professional, and Legal Considerations for using the Data Sources
Conducting research is attributed to various ethical stipulations. The development of
informed consent is achieved. The initiation of respecting anonymity and confidentiality is
realized without trying. Significantly, the respect for privacy is established as well as the
beneficence that is aligned to no harm is also reflected. Primary and secondary data help in the
realization of finding answers to the problem as the primary ethical stipulation of any research.
RESEARCH DESIGNS AND METHODS
6
The sources of data used to meet legal and professional obligations by relating accurate data.
Accuracy in the event of developing strategies that are aimed at improving a hypothesis can be
improved by deploying reliable data in research. Through the maintaining of neutrality
throughout the research, professionalism is projected. The employment of computerized and
automated programs ensures the omission of errors. Professional standards are attributed to
validity and reliability when it comes to research. The research must be consistent and accurate
as indicated by Hair Jr., Wolfinbarger, Money, Samouel, & Page (2015). Developing original
data includes legality provisions as observed in several research proliferations.
Conclusion
As stipulated by the paper, good research design and method is the primary definition of
a valid and reliable response on a problem. Typically, research takes place every day to improve
various hypotheses such as living standards and healthcare, for instance. It is significant to
deploy the most strategic research stipulations to realize the best answers for a given problem.
The paper follows closely on the guidelines and principles that encompass strategic research to
relate the best designs and methodologies that can be deployed to help solve the problem. The
disposition of using facts and figures that are relevant to a given topic enhances the development
of a good answer towards improving a hypothesis. In recommendation, every researcher must
understand the stipulations that will help them realize the sought answers before they commence
their research. The implication is to devise the most strategic design and method that will create
the needed environment to draw facts or help reach the desired conclusion.
