  • You CP Paper must comply with all of the following requirements: FORMAT

ORGANIZATION AND THOROUGHNESSSENTENCE STRUCTURE, GRAMMAR, MECHANICS AND SPELLING LEVEL OF CONTENT

Following are details about each of these requirement areas and the Grading Criteria. Please review it carefully, and make sure your CP Paper meets all of these requirements.

FORMAT

  • APA format must be used throughout the Paper including the citations in-text and on the Reference page
  • Times New Roman font style throughout the Paper
  • Size 12 font throughout the Paper
  • Black lettering on white background throughout the Paper
  • Double-spaced (which is 2.0) throughout the Paper including the running headings.
  • 1 inch margins on all 4 sides of each page
  • Microsoft Word must be used
  • The Paper must be saved as a Microsoft Word document and attached into its designated 
submission space in Canvas (under the Week/Module 8 button).
  • The Paper must NOT be embedded into the textbox. If it is embedded into the textbox, it will not be graded and will earn the score of 0 for the entire Paper. ORGANIZATION AND THOROUGHNESS
  • The Paper must be at least 3 full pages of content (which does not include the title page, Abstract, or Reference page).
  • The Paper must include a title page (which is located before the Abstract) and a Reference page (which is the last page of the Paper).

References

Note: On the Reference page list the references used in this Paper using APA formatting (noting personal communication citations must appear in-text only). Note that a Reference page does NOT start on the same page as content. It starts on the page following content. The heading shown in bold letters MUST be used exactly as shown. There MUST be a Reference page.

The Grading Rubric for the paper is located in Week 1 Module.

  • Be sure to click on Submit to submit your Paper. Clicking on Save will NOT submit the 
 Instead, it will lock it and the Course Instructor will not be able to access 
your assignment. If this occurs, your assignment will receive the score of 0.
  • All assignments must be prepared and saved as Microsoft Word documents. Assignments which are submitted in anything other than Microsoft Word will not open and will earn the score of 0. Therefore, it is your responsibility to make sure you have prepared and saved your work as a Microsoft Word document. Also, do not use any symbol (!, @, #, $, %, &, *) in the name of your saved assignment. Canvas will not allow these to open and your assignment would earn the score of 0 due to this.
  • If you mistakenly submit this assignment and want to re-submit it you must e-mail the Course Instructor asking that it be deleted. This must be done BEFORE it is graded and BEFORE the deadline for the assignment. Both of these criteria must be met.
  • To review your graded assignment please go into your Gradebook located under the Grades button in Canvas, Scroll to the assignment you want to review and click on it.

Value: 100 points (10% of the possible 100%)
