“Ronald Reagan’s face should be chiseled on to Mount Rushmore next to Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt. Polls of the American people indicate that Reagan is ranked as being as good of a President as either Kennedy or Lincoln. There is still plenty of room left on the mountain for his face, and initial models show that it would look nice. Plus, doing this would increase patriotism in our country, which is sorely lacking among young people. Finally, people point out that this would cost a total of $50 million, but that is pocket-change in today’s economy.”

“I watched the Winter Olympics and was appalled at the poor judging. Everybody could see as plain as day that the skaters who took home gold were not as good as the ones who took home silver. It would also be more modern if we did the judging according to an online process where viewers get to vote in real time. This would be more fair as well since there would be millions of voters and right now there are just four or five people who do the judging. Why should the voting come down to just four or five people? And then if the voting is online, it would be free since judges wouldn’t have to be paid. All of these considerations are why we should change up the system of judging at the Olympics.”
