It’s important that you read the lab and data sheets to understand the scope of the lab activity.

Here is a list of general microbiology topics that you can use as a jumping off point to decide on your topic. You
are encouraged to do your own research before deciding on a topic (search for “problems in microbiology” or
other terms to see additional topics that are interesting to you). Be creative, try to identify a specific topic,
and note that “COVID-19” is not an option.

sure that your topic is unique, you can’t choose a topic if someone else has picked it. I will be monitoring the
topics/problems daily and switching them from “not-yet” approved to “approved” after you type in your topic.
Choices will be first come-first served and cells will be locked for editing after I approve your topic submission.
Next, choose a time to meet with me next week to have a one-on-one meeting to discuss your Course
Project using the Tab at the bottom of the Google Sheets document.
