Description

There are many topics related to inequality policy- including but not limited to:  social assistance programs, homelessness/housing/gentrification, food insecurity, and inheritance taxation.  The paper should outline the topic chosen with attention to the ‘5-Ws’:  who, what, when, where, why.  The paper should also provide a solid background of a policy adopted to address the issue. Students should reflect in the conclusion on how well the policy addresses the issue that it was designed to address  The paper should be organized with an introductory paragraph, a section on the 5-Ws of the topic, a third section on the establishment of the policy response being investigated (eg., the 5-Ws of the policy), and a conclusion which should include comment on the effectiveness of the policy (e.g., what does the research say about the success of this policy?).
