Increased Prejudice Towards Minority Groups Letter Alternatives:
Apply social psychology theories in a creative or real world way. This project is an opportunity for you to have a unique experience related to body image, attraction, conformity, influence, persuasion, prejudice, etc.
Some examples:
•Going a week without looking in a mirror or social media, journaling about the experience, and connecting it to social comparison theory, objectification theory, or other social psych principle.
•Write a letter to your senator or house representative about a current event, applying social psychology principles.The final project involves reflecting on and sharing the results of this experience with the class.
