Thesis of paper: How is Walpole’s novel not only considered significant as Gothic but also as psychological? This 7-10 page (1750-2500 word*) paper develops an original interpretive thesis about The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole. It uses at least one scholarly secondary source and use effectively to support your points. The secondary source is there to reinforce or refine your point, not create your point. Please develop your argument first and only then look for sources that complement (they don’t have to agree with it, but they do strengthen it somehow) your argument.
