Your task involves an analysis of general economic conditions or systematic risk, i.e., the risk that affects all industries and companies, in the U.S. macroeconomy. Your goal is to determine in percentage terms an optimal allocation of $1,000,000 among the following three asset classes: U.S. equities, U.S. Treasury bonds, and cash.

Write a 1 to 2-page paper providing your analysis of the asset classes’ prospects and your justification of your allocation of monies among them.

The text below contains the instructions for our Final Assessment paper. The paper is due in Week 8. Review the instructions carefully, and begin your work on the paper, no later than Week 2. As a first step, create an outline of your final paper and begin looking for sources of information relevant to the topic.

For the Final Assessment, you will select 2 corporations that compete in the same industry. You will review their financial reports for the last available 2 years and compare and contrast the financing choices of the two companies. You should present your findings in a PowerPoint presentation (with completed Notes section providing details of your analysis.
