ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

We will work on parts of this assignment as an in-class activity (remotely), but the entire assignment must be completed and submitted through Canvas to earn credit toward the assignment grade. Complete directions will be given in class. A printed copy of the assignment was distributed in class on March 10.

This assignment includes performing a regression analysis and pasting the results into the submission document. I have developed an Excel spreadsheet template that you can use to run the regression analysis. Download the Regression Analysis Spreadsheet:

Check your version of Excel to make sure that it includes the Analysis TookPak: Click on the ‘Data’ tab and look for an area on the ribbon named “Analysis”. If you don’t have that area on the ribbon, then you will need to add-in the Analysis ToolPak. If you have that area on the ribbon, but you don’t have a button named ‘Data Analysis’, then you will need to add-in the Analysis TookPak.

Note: The final job evaluation results for Part 1 will be posted as an Assignment Update (see below) when they have been completed in class (remotely). Part 3 of the assignment cannot be started until the results for Part 1 are posted.

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Submit the document on Canvas by the due date/time.

(The Excel spreadsheet should NOT be submitted. Copy and paste the regression results into the assignment document, according to the directions provided in the assignment document.)
