Hello Doctoral Students Returning from Symposium!!
Now that we are back from Symposium, this week’s Unit 3 DB assignment (while already underway) provides an opportunity to reflect on what you experienced and learned. At the end of last week, we discussed the networking experiences that you had at Symposium. This week we discuss your Ah-Ha! Moment and reflect on the Symposium experience.
Don’t forget you have two assignments that you must be aware of this week:
Unit 3 Discussion Board – You will describe and discuss your Ah-ha! Moment, the most important learning experience you had at Symposium. Consider how Symposium will help you in the doctoral journey and working on your dissertation. Take some time to do this and really reflect on the experience of symposium.
Unit 3 DB is due on Tuesday 6/9/2020. Your initial post for this DB was due 4 days prior to 6/9, which was 6/5/2020. Peer Responses to your colleagues must be completed by 6/9/2020.

A milestone is a monumental point in your growth and development in the dissertation process. A milestone serves as a guide or stepping stone, moving from one step to the next. It will also help you to stay on track.
Using the Dissertation Pathway Milestones located in the Doctoral Center, https://careered.libguides.com/ctu/doctoral_students/dissertationprocess, and focus on the following:
What is your definition of a milestone?
If you do not complete the milestone in your courses, will you pass the course? Discuss your response.
Is a milestone significant in the Doctorate program?
Using the Dissertation Pathway Milestones, describe in a paragraph for each course: (a) what is expected of you and (b) what is occurring?
