Grade Rubric Sheet for Coat of Arms Project=100 points

Each student is to design their “Coat of Arms” describing who they are. The purpose of this assignment is to informally introduce yourself and your family culture to the class.

(A TYPED DESCRIPTION DESCRIBING EACH QUADRANT, MUST ALSO BE ACCOMANIED WITH YOUR PROJECT) 

Each “Coat of Arms” is to be divided into the following four (4) quadrants:

• Heritage (Describe where you come from – this is usually done in a symbolic way- description or picture of your home town or state or what it is known for: i.e., A picture of a Peach to depict a heritage being from Peach County) (20) points ________________
• Symbol (If you were a symbol what would you be? And what does it mean?)

• Quote (If you had a quote what would it be and its significance to you?)

CREATIVITY (Be as creative as you would like using descriptions, both written and pictorial as presented below for your review) NOTE: Step outside of the box and use your own creative expression and create your own personal quadrant, by using objects such as a poster board, poetry, copy of family photos, maps, color ink, or personal drawings- (20) points _____________
