Census Investigation Assignment

Find the data for the most recently completed census taken in the US. (This will be 2010 or 2020 depending on when you take this course.) Choose one other country to compare. Research the identification categories that appear on their most recent census report. Describe how the countries are similar and different. Discuss what this means in terms of defining race and ethnicity.
In addition to the most recent census taken in the US (again, either 2010 or 2020), research a US census from another year in the past (2000 or before). Compare the identification categories. How have they changed over time? Discuss what this means in terms of defining race and ethnicity.
