Case Study General Instructions: The purpose of this project is to apply the knowledge to analyze real-world business questions in company’s operations management. Using the knowledge introduced in our class and/or other classes, you are expected to conduct a case analysis based on the information provided. The following are general requirements for the case study: • This is a team-based, group project. You may work in a group of no more than 3 people. However, you can also choose to work individually. • Please be noted: for a case analysis, there is no right or wrong answer. Therefore do not confine yourself—be creative and innovative. However, even though the answer itself is not the main focus, the reasoning/logic to derive such answer is critical. • When write your report, if you need to cite any references, please cite appropriately. • The expected deliverables are as follows: 1. A brief report of no more than 3 pages (single-spaced, Times New Roman font, 12 font size; around 1500 words). Extra pages are permitted for supplementary materials (e.g. references and graphs). In the report, please include a short summary of the case. 2. A short presentation by each group (around 15 minutes). • Indicate all team members’ names in the report.
