Case of the Rewired Supply Chain

Develop a report with original text to address the 3 questions in the case study. Use the attached template to organize the content for each question.

CASE STUDY QUESTIONS:
Prepare a short summary of recommendations, including the following:

1. A synopsis of the inventory and supply chain management problem(s) as you perceive them to be.
2. Using the facts of the case, as well as theories and best practices that you have learned in the Operations Management course, prepare a short description as to what you intend to do to address each of the 5 goals above.
3. Explain how you would identify and use measures of effectiveness (identify appropriate metrics) to assess progress in resolving these issues.

Briefly summarize the problems and recommend a broad course of action to begin planning how to address the following goals:
1. Allow ORUN to minimize costly inventory
2. Improve the overall supply chain management within the company
3. Ensure demand requirements are met, avoiding stock outs and reducing overall costs
4. Standardize business practices among plants with a given supplier
5. Increase supplier efficiency with real time information on firm/planned orders and forecasts.

-Include a Value Stream Map to depict suggested revisions to supply chain.
-Address each recommendation in least 2 pages but no more than 3 pages.
