In what has become known as “Text-Suicide Case,” Michelle Carter was found guilty of manslaughter for the suicide of Conrad Roy III. Texts that Michelle sent Roy were used to convict her – the first person in the US to receive such a conviction. For your final, you will consider your opinion on this conviction and answer the driving question: can one be responsible for another’s death due to text messages?
