1. Select any topic dealing with the federal and state laws and statutes related to the formation of the business entity chosen. A partial list of suggested topics are included below. You will need to select one topic and write a 1–2-paragraph overview on how your paper will be structured, topics to be explored, and your methodology for conducting your research. Please include a Cover Page (in APA format)

2. List 5 to 8 references and at 4 legal statutes applicable to your business entity (2 state and 2 federal), at least 2 relevant cases that you intend to use for research on your paper. Note: The course textbook may be one of your references. Also, please include any appropriate federal administrative agency that governs the businesses in your industry of choice (at least 2).This list will need to be submitted in APA format. I suggest you use the APA sixth edition resources. This list should form the basis for your research into this topic; however, it does not mean that you cannot add any additional sources of information.

3. A detailed Outline of your Research Paper. This Outline should include all major topics and subtopics, statute and laws covered in your paper, along with subtopics addressed as well. This Outline will serve as your road map for writing your final draft. Note: Please utilize APA format for the Outline (you may consult a Librarian or find different example Outlines in an APA textbook and/or Online).
