Black Male Students and Higher Education at Predominately (Historically) White Institutions

Literature Review must be composed of these sections: 1) Constant Threats / Crises towards Black Males AND their Resistance / Agency in Response – (this section should cover the concepts of “anti-Blackness,” “spirit-murdering,” and Black males being “illegible” but also intellectualism, grit, self-defense, Black radical love, Black boy joy)  2) Challenges AND Opportunities of being a Black male student or professional (faculty / staff) at Predominately (Historically) White Institutions 3) How circumstances involving COVID-19 highlighted educational inequities, particularly at universities and colleges.   *Files in the form of journal articles, dissertations, and book chapters have been uploaded in order to utilize them and their own references for this paper’s citations. Please utilize them and you can also use sources that you find yourself.  **The literature review should strike an overall balance between the consistent societal difficulties facing Black male students AND Black male students’ abilities and experiences of achieving academic and personal success despite racist and problematic issues.
