Assessment Task
Assessment 3 is an individual task that involves the completion of two parts.
Part I:
Part I requires you to complete the micro-credential titled ‘Digital Tools for the Future’. This credential is designed to help you understand the digital tools that are being used in contemporary workplaces.
You may access this micro-cred through this Canvas site by clicking ‘Modules’ on the left-hand sidebar and navigating to the Creds module. A copy of the badge or the unique URL is required to show that you have successfully completed this micro-cred.
Once you successfully complete the micro-cred, ensure that you include this unique URL in your reflective paper. Use the instructions linked on the credential launch page in Canvas to claim your badge and to get your unique URL. In order to qualify for a badge you will need to achieve the stated requirements for the credential. Please refer to the credential launch page for more details including marking turnaround times on submission-type assessments. Badges may take up to 24 hours to be issued.
Part II
Part II requires you to look back on your learning and experiences in this course and provide a reflection of what you learned from the course and how you have both used and will use this learning in the future. The reflection must also be backed by a theoretical foundation and scholarly work.
How to write the reflective paper
Creativity Journal:
To complete requirement 4 above, we recommend that you keep a ‘Creativity Journal’ starting from week 1 where you record at least once daily instances in which you exercised creative problem solving in your life, university or while at work.
In doing so, remember to record the problem/task you faced, the creative solution you came up with to solve the problem/task and the process you went through to come up with the solution (e.g., engaged in divergent and convergent thinking, used design thinking, brainstormed ideas etc.) and how your learning in the course helped you to come up with a creative solution. This journal will also help you to keep track of how creative you are and how you can further improve your creative problem solving skills.
Please note that this journal will NOT be marked.
Turnitin
Assessments will automatically go through Turnitin when they are submitted online using the ‘Submit Assignment’ button. Please check the Turnitin Similarity percentage and ensure that it is 20% or less. If it is more than 20%, you can check the Similarity Report and make changes to your Assessment as needed. You are then able to resubmit the Assessment and get a new Similarity percentage.
Late submissions
Assessments that are submitted late will incur a penalty of 10% per day deducted from the total marks for this Assignment. Please note that a weekend is considered two days. If you are unable to submit the Assessment by the due date or require an extension, it is highly advisable that you speak to your tutor beforehand.
