On page 129 of the textbook, we learn that in many countries of the world healthcare is a privilege and offered to only the wealthy and those of high socioeconomic status. Medications and treatments come with a high cost for those underserved countries globally. After you watch the video below answer the following questions: 1. Is healthcare a right or privilege in the United States? What about other countries? 2. Should healthcare be considered a right? Should everyone have the same access to care despite socioeconomic status or the ability to pay for services? Explain your reasoning.
