Write from the point of view of a common household item

Write from the point of view of a common household item. Then write a dialogue
between yourself and the item. What sorts of things would you say to such an item? Would it
respond? How do you and it feel about each other? This may sound silly, but it’s an exercise in
perspective. Imagine a scenario and have fun with it.
