William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet each have a scene in which the lovers declare their love for one another and establish the basis of their future relationship: the famous ‘balcony scene’ in Romeo and Juliet (2.2), and the wedding scene in Much Ado About Nothing (4.1)—compare and contrast these two scenes, specifically in terms of how each of them presents marriage (that is: as a relationship, do NOT compare the wedding ceremonies themselves).
