Organize and unify your composition around a complex thesis with subtopics.
Give specifics, including examples and three direct quotations from your work. Make sure to “sandwich” each quotation (See They Say, I Say, Chapter III, “The Art of Quoting.”
Plant a naysayer in your text that enriches the argument you are making.
As part of your composition, show that you understand the deep elements of composition by referring to these in connectio to your own writing. (See the Instructions for Revision if you have forgotten what the deep elements are.)
Point out where your ideas and writing style have been insightful, original, or reflected your strongest values and convictions.

Overall, convey a vivid and persuasive picture of your writing journey and accomplishments this semester.
