hardware and PCs. The introduction of new products updated to meet the competitive impacts of
technology lists among the current opportunities. The introduction of hardware with unique
features that will make Acer Inc. the best in the market is among the current plans. The product
strategy for Acer Inc. is to ensure all the aspects of the product cycle are monitored for the
successful introduction of the new product into the market.
Product Life Cycle
The three areas of product cycle adopted by Acer Inc. are the introduction, growth
maturity, and decline state. The introduction of the product is the first stage of the cycle, where
the company focuses on setting a strong foundation for the product. Some of the aspects that
Acer Inc. will consider are setting affordable prices, placement, and ease availability to all
potential consumers. The company will invest in marketing the new hardware to create
awareness and interest to the customers. The unique features of the hardware will be focused
during the awareness process in different distribution regions (Crisafulli, Dimitriu, & Singh,
2020). The second area is product growth, where Acer Inc. will ensure that all the strategies put
in the initial stage are maintained. The company will identify areas of product awareness that
require improvement to ensure that the new hardware growth in the market is progressive. Acer
Inc. will practice globalization and diversification of the new products to increase the sales.
The third area is the maturity stage, where Acer Inc. will focus on maintaining sales and

as demand and distribution, will stabilize. Acer Inc. must ensure that it is the leading distributor
and acquires maximum shares for the new electronic hardware. The last step in the product cycle

is the decline where the sales and demand for the product reduces. Acer Inc. will be ready to

occurs due to the competition from other companies that have developed an advanced product

should also comment on their satisfaction rate in a particular product.

advertisement. Acer Inc. Magazines document essential information about the product and can
be used in the future as a reference. The magazine should contain all details regarding the new
products and sell them to the stores. The second method is a non-print, online advertisement on
the different social media accounts. Some of the social media platforms that Acer Inc. can use to
advertise the new hardware are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
