University of Alabama at Birmingham Juliet and Romeo Project Other i want questions 5&6 to be solved i hope the answers be accurate and doing well. This project is really important for me and it has a big percentage of my grade. PROJECT 2: JULIET AND ROMEO
Goal: to model the love affairs of Romeo and Juliet.
Reading Material: http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/pubs/paper277.pdf
Matlab code: twospecies.m
Models:
Here are four models:
(1)
dJ
= J −R
dt
dR
= J
dt
(2)
dJ
= 5R
dt
dR
= 7J
dt
(3)
dJ
= −4J − 10R
dt
dR
= 10J + 4R
dt
(4)
dJ
= 10J + R
dt
dR
= J + 10R
dt
Instructions: For each of the models, do the following:
(1) Find the general solutions.
(2) Find and classify the equilibrium point(s).
(3) Use matlab code to graph the approximated solutions (via ode solver). Use the initial
condition: J(0) = 0 and R(0) = 1.
(4) Use matlab code to graph the phase portrait.
(5) Characterize the romantic styles. And then, predict the fate of the relationship.
(6) Create your own model. Then repeat 1-5.
(7) Please write up a report answering these questions.
