Discuss with your colleagues the following questions: What is “Legality”? What are “Ethics”? Compare and contrast legality and ethics in health care. Provide one (1) specific real life legal case example of a violation of legality in a healthcare organization and one (1) specific real life legal case example of a violation of ethics in a healthcare organization that you find on the internet or in the print media. You are working to develop the business plan for a new business. You are trying to determine the best organizational structure to use. Of course, the legal structure you pick will depend on the nature of your new company (e.g. who owns it, the number of owners, liability, etc). Pick one of the legal organizational structures discussed in this week’s reading and state ONE advantage and ONE disadvantage of the structure for your new firm. Be sure to identify the characteristics of your new firm (e.g hospital, physician practice, outpatient center, etc.).

What compensatory/coping mechanisms/programs were introduced to offset the health care access barriers? You may also discuss any current policy news that may facilitate or increase access to ESHI.
