Troy Competing in Post COVID 19 World Hotel Industry Article Discussion Please begin a new discussion thread with a brief synopsis of what your article was about for this week and include an active web-link than can be utilized by your peers to read your full article.

The article can be related to ANY hospitality related topic that is of current issue circulating in the news. It just needs to be published within the last week for it to be acceptable.

Make sure the article you select for review is current – meaning it has been posted within the previous week. If your posting original posting is due on Sunday, June 14th, the article should’ve been published between June 4th and June 11th.

Your initial thread post should be 5-10 sentences explaining the content of your article. Additionally, you are tasked to develop 3 conversational questions related to the content of your article to stimulate discussion amongst your classmates. Please make sure the questions you develop are open-ended questions to allow for your peers to provide a worthy response.

Grading notes:

Your original post should be at least 5-10 sentences at the very least in addition to 3 open-ended questions for your peers to answer.
Make sure you include the weblink for the original article you reviewed so your peers can read it entirely before responding to your questions.
I will be reviewing the date of article publication, so please make sure it is CURRENT.
Your original discussion must be posted by THURSDAY, JUNE 11th by 11:59pm.
You will not be able to reply to other students until you post an original thread.
In addition to posting your article and questions, please respond to at least two other classmate’s threads. In your response, please expand past simple responses like “I agree…” or “I disagree…”; provide a meaningful and thoughtful response to their questions that will add to quality discussion. Each response is also expected to be at least 5 full sentences of substantive information.
Your original post will be worth 30 points (15 points for the article review and 5 points per question you develop) and each peer reply is worth 10 points. If you neglect to post your original posting until Sunday, you will only be eligible to receive 50% for the entire assignment.
