Statement of Purpouse

Statement of Purpose: All applications required to submit a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose should address these four areas, and applicants are encouraged to use APA or similar headings to structure their statement: 1. Why do you want to become a marriage and family therapist? (you may use your personal generic reasons, and I will personalize them later). 2. What experience do you have in mental health and related fields? 3. At this point, is there any particular population you want to work with and why? (LGBT and People of Color, also can be written very generic and I will personalize it). 4. Describe how you have cultivated self-understanding and awareness of others. I also added an additional File with a Backgroud Description as a reference. Maybe it will help. But overall, I just physically can’t write this statement so I need a frame that I could personalize and edit myself. So this statement can be generic.
