Special Project: Brochure | Homework Help

The purpose of this assignment is to facilitate student development of knowledge and skills in the development of selected types of media to educate others about HIV/AIDS. The spread of HIV in the United States has held rather steady at about 50,000 new infections per year. An estimated 1.2 million Americans have HIV and an estimated 240,000 HIV carriers are unaware they are infected which poses a public health risk.
There are many resources available for individuals infected with HIV / AIDS but many are unaware of these resources and how to access them. Many individuals do not have access to a computer, do not read newspapers etc, thus reaching the very populations who need health care the most is very challenging.
Please use the following scenario to develop a brochure that could be used to educate a specific vulnerable target population about HIV / AIDS with a specific focus on prevention.
