Social entrepreneurship Managing the Creation of Social Value Bibliography Annotated Bibliography

Students will choose a social problem that social entrepreneurship currently contends with. You will be expected to and develop an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography is a list of references that summarizes, describes, and evaluates a scholarly peer-reviewed journal article.

Suggested social problems for social entrepreneurial research: poverty, famine, violence, drug abuse, famine, unemployment, environmental problems, educational attainment, sanitation, health issues and crime.

Hints: you will find it helpful to research areas such as educational entrepreneurship, healthcare entrepreneurship, employee entrepreneurship, environmental entrepreneurship, sustainable entrepreneurship, justice entrepreneurship, political entrepreneurship and social “intrapreneurship”

General guidelines:

a. APA format overall – 12 pt. Times New Roman typed; double spaced throughout paper, including between citation and annotation and between annotations; 1 inch margins; hanging indent for the citation. No additional spaces.

b. You must provide a premise paragraph. A premise paragraph is one paragraph description which summarizes your project and the objective of the interactive application

c. You must include nine (9) unique peer-reviewed journal articles; government reports, working paper or book (Book Chapter) in your annotated bibliography

d. Each annotation reference will include at least a two paragraph (no more, no less) synopsis. It is not just a summary! It is an assessment of how the source fits into your research. You must determine the sources helpfulness to shaping your research argument. You can also include how it could be used in your research project and how it has changed your perception of the topic. Do not copy and paste or submit the author’s abstract!
