primary source from the museum archives

There are a few others documents can get but want to see if they can do the assignment first … but would like to involve the line of five documtes that could maybe explain veterans issues. I only have two right now but can get the others but think if the writer goes to the website they can see them is like 5 sources with the same finding number except the end one which will increase or decrease

Choose one primary source from the museum archives. It could be anything that piques your interest; it doesn’t necessarily need to be connected to your intended field of study. Write a 3-4 page reflection that answers the following questions:

Section 1: Your source

How is your source cited in Turabian/Chicago style?
Describe the source you found. What is it? Who made it? When? Where? Why?
Analyze this source within its context. What kind of information does it give us about the past?
Section 2: The Archive

How do you request materials at this archive (online? on paper? word of mouth?)
What finding aids did you use to find your source? Is your source part of a larger collection of similar sources? Describe that collection.
What information could the archivist provide about your source? You might ask them about the provenance of the item (i.e. how this item came to be in the collections) or if they know of other researchers who have used this source previously.
