(d) Eberharts first poem was called Who Are You  It opened with serveral images among which were the following a box wrapped in gold paper shining among spring flowers beside a door in Boston Massachusetts  The poem went on to describe the weather for instance the sun gleaming off the rain washed pavement the lousy mindset of the poet it was a bone crushing day to walk outside he said and the lemon yellow bird that landed on the box picked at the hand made bow until it loosened and flew away with the ribbon in its red tipped beak
