Programming Question (40 points)

Complete the program that shows city and state of the user-entered zip code at the URL https://www.zip-codes.com/search.asp. In the web site, when you enter a zip code, the URL returns a page with information about the zip code (city, state, population, and average house value, etc. in the zip code). For example, if you enter 50011, the returned page is https://www.zip-codes.com/zip-code/50011/zip-code-… and you can check the corresponding city is Ames, IA.

In the java program of this assignment, you are not asked to directly interact with the web site. Instead, you are asked to download, and process nine sample HTML files provided with the assignment. The HTML files should be located directly under the project folder (not src folder). Your program should be able to process the nine HTML files. In Appendix A, screenshot and sample HTML codes are attached. I highlighted the parts you need to focus on. In Appendix B, a sample run of the program is attached.

Use the provided incomplete source code (ZipLookupWeb.java) as a starting point. In modifying the source file,

1. Do not change the file (class) names and method names. Points will be deducted if you have different names.

2. Fill in your name in the @author section of the comment in each of the files. If you do not, points will be deducted.

Submit your work to Canvas. Submit ZipLookupWeb.java file only. Make sure to submit source file (*.java). Class file (*.class) will not be graded and receive zero credit. MIS 307 Homework 7
