Literature Review – (Lab Assignment)

The purpose of a literature review is to provide a critical review and analysis of the published literature pertaining to an identified issue or subject/topic. It begins with the topic you have chosen and a search through the databases to locate relevant literature. Review of the literature will then assist with narrowing the topic you have identified to study. The differing articles chosen for the literature review will provide research findings that can be summarized and compared; they will assist in offering various perspectives of the topic. Critical review will identify limitations or gaps in the research. This can then be used to form questions that future research might address.
