You are one of 3 HR Managers in the Total Rewards Department.Each HR Manager has 5 direct reports who conduct paperwork processing. The HR Managers in the Total Rewards Department oversees the processing of the various paperwork for their respective areas (Benefits, Compensation, Performance, etc.), among many other duties. The Employees who conduct the paperwork processing are rotated through all of the specific areas every 4 months, so they work for each HR Manager once during the year. Their ability to work in all areas of the Total Rewards Departments helps with covering absences and vacations. Your fellow manager from Team 2 is going to be gone for 5 days (Wed-Sun). In his absence you are put in charge of his team while he is gone. Wed you are informed 6 people must work OT on Sat & Sun. OT has never been done before.
